My Sacred Story
My own sacred story began for me when I was 4 years old. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized that I had a near death experience at that time when my appendix burst. Since that moment I have hungered for the truth, for joy and for peace in my life.
As a religious sister and teacher in the Catholic Church for 10 years, I laid the foundation for a life of spiritual practices. For 7 years, I was guided by my mentor, Sister Elsie Kelly, PhD in Spiritual Psychology.
I have been married for 40 years and have raised 4 beautiful children. Marriage has been my greatest teacher and parenting my greatest joy!
My experience with breast cancer took me down new avenues of self-discovery and invited me to face my own possible death. Thus, I volunteer with hospice patients. It is a privilege for me to witness and behold the sacred in the stories of those who are dying.
The wisdom of grieving is in my bones through the loss of my precious grandson.
Sharing the vulnerability of such a loss connects me with others with
deep understanding and profound compassion.
It is the utmost honor for me to join others on this journey of life, as we discover our purpose, our joy and our meaning
by remembering who we are.
